Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) is the world's leading educational organization dedicated to the study of how the human body functions in relation to the golf swing. We use a holistic approach and innovative technologies to help golfers improve their performance, which includes detailed swing analysis and science-based player strengthening and conditioning.

The most efficient swing is not the same for every golfer because efficiency is unique to each person’s body. To achieve an efficient swing, a golfer must first be screened. This screen involves an assessment of swing mechanics and biomechanics, physical fitness, movement quality, current health and a client history.

TPI Basic Screening (~30 min.) - $45
Screening the relationship of your body and swing.

Includes TPI body screening + video swing analysis + body/swing corrections plan

TPI Power Screening (~45 min.) - $55
Relationship of body/swing as well as testing for power/distance capabilities.

Includes TPI body screen + TPI power screen + video swing analysis + body/swing corrections plan.

“…just one workout with him addressing those faults. That is what the TPI fitness program is for. Suddenly I started feeling very optimistic about my golf game”

-Matt M. (published In the Peninsula Pulse)

Titleist Performance Institute Certification is an evidence based, educational pathway designed to teach industry professionals how to increase player performance through a deep understanding of how the body functions during the golf swing. I.E. Golf Fitness.

“Golf fitness is about understanding how a body’s limitations can influence the golf swing and how to address those limitations through the proper channels; whether it’s through swing instruction (golf professional), physical rehabilitation (medical professional) or strength and conditioning exercise (fitness professional). It’s about understanding the latest technology and how that technology can be implemented to increase performance.”

-Titleist Performance Institute

Golf presents unique challenges to the body. Golf is a sport that combines an intermittent high-intensity and high skill activity with a history largely void of understanding the benefits of fitness. A TPI fitness trainer helps break the myths of what is important for golfers and what it takes to be fit for golf.

As a Fitness Professional, TPI Certification provides the knowledge and tools to design effective conditioning programs for players of all ages and abilities.
